Agenesis | Multicultural Salon

Agenesis is a beauty salon located in Burlington, Vermont. The goal when creating the logo was to highlight the the fact that the salon can service people of any culture and ethnicity. This was achieved by using a stepped gradient that ranged from darker to lighter color, representing skin tones. The modern, sans serif font was chosen to reinforce the idea of a clean, polished aesthetic. The brand logo was used to create temporary and permanent signage for the storefront, which you can see renders of below.
