Thomas Scoops

Thomas Scoops is a family owned ice cream shop located between Barre and Montpelier in Vermont. The “Thomas” brand is a family of companies that operate a Property Management company, a Farm & Garden store, Auto Service shop, and recently have acquired some Sears Hometown stores. The branding for Thomas Scoops is largely based of the color scheme of the Thomas brand, as well as the Thomas font. I translated the green/blue gradient into the ice cream that sits in the cone. The font used for “Scoops” is a fun, rounded, playful font aimed to appeal to a younger crowd. I created a concept for a menu board that never made it to reality, that you can see on the third slide below.
