SUMMIT | Fire & Security

Summit Fire & Security is located in Colchester, Vermont, and they specialize in installing and maintaining and fire, theft and safety alarm systems. The first page you will see below was actually not the final winning design, however I feel that it was the strongest contender. The icon combines a Shield & a Lock, to give customers a feeling of safety and protection. The bold, thick font choice also reinforces idea of sturdy, impenetrable protection, while maintaining a modern look that will hold up through changing design trends. Research shows that the color blue is strongly associated with security, peace and trust. The last slide below shows the final logo that made it onto the companies envelopes and letterheads. That branding was also used to apply graphics to the companies vehicles (not shown).
